Basic informations
Injection lipolysis is a fat reduction procedure which involves the administration of a suitable formulation (a mixture of deoxycholate, phosphatidylcholine and L-carnitine or organic silica) into subcutaneous adipose tissue with the goal of destroying fat cell membranes.
The fat released from destroyed adipocytes is gradually absorbed by lymphatic vessels to be metabolised by the liver and excreted. The procedure results in a considerable reduction of fatty tissue volume in the treated areas, visible in circumference measurement.
