iPIXEL LASER is used to reduce the appearance of stretchmarks, scars and discolorations.
It uses a special technology which replaces one laser beam with several microbeams of controlled strength and depth of penetration. Targeting imperfections, the laser destroys abnormal elastin and collagen fibres which form stretchmarks. This process creates thermal microinjuries which are separated by intact tissue. These microinjuries stimulate skin regeneration through natural collagen production, which promotes exfoliation and resurfacing of skin in the treatment area. Stretchmarks are visibly reduced or disappear completely. To minimise patient discomfort during the procedure, the device uses a special cooling system.
