Tear trough correction with hyaluronic acid

BASIC INFORMATIONS

Tear trough correction with hyaluronic acid consists in intradermal or subcutaneous injection of a dedicated product in the under-eye area where the nasojugal groove starts forming.

Hyaluronic acid is administered using a fine needle or a cannula. After the injection, a massage is performed to ensure even distribution of the product in the skin. The procedure results in the tear trough being filled and under-eye lines being visibly reduced. It also helps eliminate under-eye circles, leaving skin moisturised, firmer and more supple.

Indications

  • visible “tear trough” groove
  • tissue loss in the orbital area and lower eyelid
  • under-eye circles resulting from the presence of under-eye hollows
